The little Zebra

One day Mother Zebra and baby Zebra went out to look for food. Suddenly they got thirsty.They went to a lake to get some water. Mother was very scared . The lake they went to was not an ordinary lake. It was the lake of the crocodile. They were trying to be alert and was very careful.

They just took their  first sip of water. Suddenly   mother zebra saw something floating on the lake. The mother zebra told the little zebra to finish drinking. The floating thing in the lake got closer and closer.Mother zebra realized that it,s the crocodile. 

The crocodile was happy to get a meal. He coming slowly. But suddenly he saw the mother and baby zebra running away. He became very angry . He jumped out of the water and started to chase them.

Little Zebra got very scared but he was thinking of saving their lives. He found a bush. He took his mom and hide behind the bush. The crocodile was looking here and there but could not find the mother Zebra or even the little zebra.

The black and white stripes of the zebra blended within the green leaves of the bush. this is called camouflage. 

Little zebra,s idea saved his and his mom,s life!
